Nereux [neer-ee-uks] – our company name comes from Nereus. In the greek mythology Nereus was a sea god noted for his wisdom, gift of prophecy, and ability to change his shape. He was the son of Pontus, a personification of the sea, and Gaea, the Earth goddess.
At Nereux we have a deep love for the ocean and environment. Being established in Puerto Rico allow us to constantly refuel our mind and soul with the awesomeness of the sea.
In a world where technology is constantly changing we must be able to “change shape” and evolve to fulfill our clients’ needs.
Miguel Vega is a professional engineer graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez. He successfully completed a BS in electrical engineer with a concentration in power and control systems. His professional career started along with the new millennium.
Before starting a control system integrator business, Miguel spent eighteen years in technical, design and managerial roles for companies in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. After a successful career helping public utilities, food & beverage and life science companies, Miguel now helps them design and optimize their control system.
Inspired by Jacques Cousteau, Miguel enjoys the ocean and the science behind it. In his spare time you could find him working on research technology at the Marine Science Department in the University of Puerto Rico.

No matter the scope of the project, we focus on creating solutions to improve customer’s productivity and experience. Upon a project’s completion, we want to have made the customer’s job easier and the facility as a whole run more smoothly.
We approach each project inclusively, keeping customers in the loop through every step, soliciting their input and prioritizing their comfort. At Nereux we use our industry experience to anticipate customers’ needs, and will actively uncover and coordinate all the essential information for a successful project. We troubleshoot so our clients don’t have to. Customers can count on our support beyond a project’s completion and expect Nereux’s responsive service for as long as needed. We don’t consider a project complete until the customer does.

Nereux has achieved the Gold Certified Integrator status in the Ignition Integrator program by Inductive Automation. This is a huge step for Nereux that, at the time, is the sole company in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean who attains that certification.
Ignition is a developing tool that certainly allow us to achieve our mission to provide solutions that fit our clients needs.
